Details, ingredients & care
- Vanilla and caramel notes soften the rich character of Ceylon black tea in Nina’s Je T’aime. This loose-leaf blend comes in a gift tin and pairs beautifully with a buttery biscuit, a slice of cake or an unhurried afternoon.
About Nina’s Paris
- Nina’s traces its history to a distiller of rose and lavender essences who supplied the court of Louis XVI, and its blends still take their names from Versailles. Je T’aime is the gentlest of the three we carry: a Ceylon black tea scented with vanilla and caramel, in the house’s collectible tin, and the one most often given as a small declaration.
How to brew
- A teaspoon per cup; water just off the boil
- Three to four minutes, then take the leaves out
- Good with a splash of milk
How to enjoy
- Brew for afternoon tea or an after-dinner cup
- Serve with butter cookies, madeleines or simple chocolate desserts
- Give as an easy Paris-inspired host or tea gift

Questions
- Is it sweet? It smells sweeter than it tastes; the caramel is an aroma over a brisk Ceylon, with no sugar in the tin.
- After dinner? Yes, though it is a black tea and caffeinated; brew it a little shorter.
- Which Nina’s to choose? Je T’aime for vanilla and caramel; Marie-Antoinette for apple and rose; Fête de Versailles for spice.
Pairs with
- The Biscuiterie de Provence almond cake; L’Abeille Occitane honey candies in the saucer. Everything we carry from Nina’s Paris, and more French teas and gift tins.
Lello’s Point of View
- Why we chose it. Je T’aime is comfort in the Nina’s collection: vanilla and caramel soften brisk Ceylon tea without adding sugar, giving the cup the aroma of dessert rather than dessert’s sweetness.
- What it makes better. An afternoon cup feels more indulgent, simple biscuits become enough, and an after-dinner tea can satisfy the desire for something sweet without becoming another course.
- How we would use it. Brew three minutes, add a small splash of milk if you like, and serve with an almond cake or butter biscuit.
- Who will love it. Vanilla and caramel lovers, Paris romantics, black-tea drinkers who dislike floral blends and anyone looking for an easy but elegant host gift.
- Why it earns its place. A 100 g French gift tin of Ceylon black tea scented with vanilla and caramel offers a generous, highly approachable entry into Nina’s Paris.
