About Common Good
Common Good is a small, women-led company in Brooklyn, founded by Sacha Dunn, a former prop stylist who wanted household products that worked, looked good on the counter and came in bottles you could refill. The detergent is triple-concentrated and plant-based, with an enzyme system for everyday soil and lavender essential oil rather than synthetic fragrance, and it is made to be refilled from Common Good’s boxes rather than bought again in plastic.
How to use

Questions
How strong is the lavender? A trace on the dry sheets, not a perfume; it fades within a day.
High-efficiency machines? Yes; it is low-sudsing and made for both HE and standard washers.
Pairs with
The unscented version for table linens; lavender dish soap. Everything we carry from Common Good.
Lello’s Point of View
Why we chose it. Laundry is routine; beautiful linens are not. This is the kind of product that respects both—the practical work of washing and the pleasure of pulling clean sheets from the bed with only a trace of lavender.
What it makes better. A triple-concentrated formula means less product per load, while the essential-oil scent leaves household linens feeling cared for rather than aggressively perfumed.
How we would use it. Save lavender for sheets, towels and everyday clothing, and keep the unscented version for table linens where fragrance has no business competing with dinner.
Who will love it. Linen obsessives, lavender devotees and households trying to replace disposable laundry packaging with a more permanent refill routine.
Why it earns its place. Plant-based, enzyme-powered, HE-compatible and refill-oriented, it improves an unavoidable household task without turning it into another shelf of plastic.
