1948Giuseppe Cipriani creates the Bellini.
On May 13, 1931, Giuseppe Cipriani opened Harry’s Bar in Venice. The small bar became a gathering place for an extraordinary mix of guests: writers, artists and travelers drawn to its personal welcome.
The Bellini followed in 1948. Over generations, Cipriani grew into an international name in Italian hospitality. Its food collection offers another way to encounter that heritage, at a table of your own.

Untie the ribbon.
Set the good plates.
Allow roughly two generous main-course portions or three to four smaller first courses. Keep the preparation simple and leave room for conversation.

Put the water on.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Set out the plates while it heats.

Give the pasta a little attention.
Cook the Tagliarelle for approximately three minutes, following the packet. Save a little cooking water before draining.

Bring it together.
Warm the Sansovina gently in a pan. Toss with the drained pasta and a splash of the reserved water until the sauce lightly coats the ribbons.

Make the evening yours.
Serve immediately. Add basil, olive oil or grated cheese if you wish; these optional garnishes are not included.

What is included in the price?
One 250 g Cipriani Tagliarelle, one selected sauce, a wood gift box, ivory tissue and Lello ribbon. The tomato set is $58; the pesto set is $65. Shipping and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
Can I choose pesto instead of tomato?
Yes. Select Organic Basil Pesto above. It replaces the 340 g tomato sauce with a 180 g pesto jar. Your selected sauce and price appear in the cart.

What should I know about allergens?
Both sets contain wheat and eggs in the pasta. The pesto also contains pine nuts. Although the pesto is made without garlic or cheese, the set contains egg pasta. Read the product labels for full dietary and storage information.
Where can I see the full ingredients?
Pasta: durum wheat semolina, egg (25%). Sansovina: tomato (94%), onions, carrots, basil (1.5%), extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. Pesto: basil (55%), sunflower oil, potato flakes, extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, sea salt and lemon juice. The sauces’ agricultural ingredients are organic. Follow the jars’ after-opening storage instructions.
